Yarn kit for the Cross Sweater by PetiteKnit.
The instructions for the Cross Sweater were created in collaboration with the Red Cross; a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the instructions will be donated to the Red Cross.
So you can wear the pretty red crosses and do something really good at the same time!
You knit your Cross Sweater seamlessly from top to bottom and from the armholes in rounds with Peer Gynt from Sandnes yarn. This makes this enchanting sweater light and robust, as well as really warm.
The Cross Sweater has a classic look with a simple pattern in beautiful contrasting colors.
We also have the matching Cross Sweater Kids for children as a set in the shop, knit the sweater for the whole family!
size guide
The Cross Sweater should have a positive ease of around 25 cm in the smallest sizes, but increasingly smaller in the larger sizes. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) will fit a chest measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater can be found on the front of the pattern. Note: These measurements are only valid if the gauge is adhered to. Measure yourself before you start knitting to find the size that fits you best. If your chest (or widest part of your body) measures 95 cm, you should choose size M. A sweater in size M has a chest circumference of 120 cm and in this case would have a range of motion ( positive ease ) of 25 cm.
