Yarn kit for the Novice Sweater in the Mayflower Denmark Edition by PetiteKnit.

The Novice Sweater is knitted from top to bottom. This means that you start with the neckline, then knit the yoke, then the body and finally the sleeves. The sweater is worked in stocking stitch, but the edges are worked in a rib pattern.

This simple sweater is a wonderful project for any beginner! For experienced knitters, it is a nice, relaxed knit. The cut is casual and classic, so your novice sweater will accompany you for a long time!

The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL fit a chest circumference of approx. 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The Novice sweater should have a range of motion (positive ease) of 5 - 10 cm. This means that if you have measured a chest circumference of 90 cm (measure yourself with a tape measure), you should knit a size S, which has a chest circumference of 98 cm.
