Description
Felted Tweed by Rowan is probably Rowan's most famous yarn.
The huge color palette is perfectly coordinated. This means the colors can be easily combined with each other.
With a thickness of approx. 22M, the yarn can be used universally - the tweed effect is always beautiful.
As the name suggests, the yarn is lightly pre-felted. You should therefore only wash it cold and gently if you want to prevent further felting.
In addition to the wool (which is merino wool, by the way), the yarn also contains a quarter of alpaca, which gives it additional warmth and softness - but Rowan Felted Tweed still has a more rustic feel - just right for Fair Isle patterns, for example.
